I VISITED THE CHIPPY A FEW WEEKS AGO AND THE CHIPS TASTE AND LOOK DIFFERENT THIS TIME; WHY IS THAT?

The seasons here in Australia are very different to the UK. We purchase locally sourced Maris Pipers when the season allows. However, due to these variations in seasons the potatoes will inevitably change too. We provide customers with a taste test before purchase to ensure they are happy with the chips that are currently in season. Unlike rain soaked Britain, we can’t always offer the consistency of potato that we are used to in the UK.

WHY ARE YOUR PRICES DIFFERENT TO THE CHIPPY DOWN THE ROAD FROM ME?

We aim to stay true to British traditions by serving an authentic British chippy experience. Therefore, we only have access to a limited number of suppliers that can provide us with quality British produce. Our Cod is 100% Cod imported from the North Atlantic. No imitations here!
